Things to note before removing Ellie:
- The developer of Ellie is Wickings ApS and all inquiries must go to them.
- Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of Wickings ApS to know if they support self-serve account deletion:
- The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like Wickings ApS to delete all your data it holds. Wickings ApS must comply within 1 month.
- The CCPA lets American residents request that Wickings ApS deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱
Delete on iPhone:
- On your homescreen, Tap and hold Ellie: Carbon offset until it starts shaking.
- Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
- Click on that X to delete the Ellie: Carbon offset app.
Delete on Android:
- Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
- Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
- Choose Ellie: Carbon offset, » then click "Uninstall".

1. When you buy an amount of CO2 in Ellie, you are buying an equal amount of "Gold Standard" carbon credit, that we permanently retire from the carbon market, so it cannot be resold or recirculated.
2. Gold Standard certification ensures that the emission reductions are real, additional and permanent.
3. Furthermore, coming from projects that also contribute to a minimum of three Sustainable Development Goals.
4. This is why you can claim whatever amount of CO2 you buy, is offset.

7. The carbon credits we are selling, are from projects with the Gold Standard certification.
