🎌 About GALILEONAUT

1. It allows the harbour master's office to assign a docking place to a boat entering the harbour, and the sailor to be guided to that place without requiring any assistance from the harbour master’s office.

2. The solution provides a link between the harbour master's office of a port or marina and sailors.

3. GalileoNaut considers the location given by the smartphone and use a surface algorithm to compute the trajectory to the docking place.

4. GalileoNaut combines positioning and mapping to guide safely the sailor to his docking place.

5. GalileoNaut is a mobile application that helps sailors to find their way inside a port or a marina.

6. GalileoNaut has been developed in the context of MyGalileoApp challenge organized by the European GNSS Agency (GSA).

7. Thus, sailors can be reassured in their boating practices and particularly in the approach phase of a port, which is the most delicate phase.

8. GalileoNaut is in the top ten apps selected by the GSA.
