Things to note before removing Terra:

  1. The developer of Terra is David Rowland and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like David Rowland to delete all your data it holds. David Rowland must comply within 1 month.
  3. The CCPA lets American residents request that David Rowland deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Terra until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Terra app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Terra, » then click "Uninstall".

1. Terra gives you quick access to astronomical information, weather forecasts, earthquake reports, time zones and factual information about any part of the Earth.

2. Weather: Terra will link to the Weather Underground web site and show the current conditions and forecast for any location.

3. Time Zones: Terra shows a globe with a political map of the Earth with more than 250 locations highlighted.

4. Maps: Terra can link to the Apple Maps or Google Maps applications for a detailed view of any location.

5. Tapping a button will center the globe on a location and show its local time, correct for standard or daylight.

6. Earthquakes: Terra will download the latest earthquake report from the USGS and display the quakes on the globe.

7. Facts: Terra will link to the CIA World Factbook web site for almost every country.

8. You can jump to the USGS web site for more detailed information about any quake.

9. It presents a 3D globe which you can spin to see any point on Earth.

10. You can also move forward and back in time.
