  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like The Learning Edge, LLC to delete all your data it holds. The Learning Edge, LLC must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that The Learning Edge, LLC deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold The Daily Word until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the The Daily Word app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose The Daily Word, » then click "Uninstall".

1. Use the Word of the Day as a daily reminder to review some vocabulary words.

2. The Daily Word was created to try and make the painful SAT vocabulary review process easier and more enjoyable.

3. If you hear a word on the radio you don't know, load up The Daily Word and create a notecard for it.

4. Use the notecard review system to build the deep vocabulary you need to dominate the Critical Reading portion of the SAT.

5. If you see a word on a practice SAT that you do not know, load up The Daily Word and create a notecard for it.

6. If someone says a word you don't know, load up The Daily Word and create a notecard for it.

7. What do you do with any word you don't know? You guessed it! Create a notecard.

8. But, hopefully this app can push vocabulary review close to or above cleaning toilets and eating lima beans on your love list.

10. We named the app "The Daily Word", because each morning you will receive a notification with the Word of the Day.

13. We do not expect you to prefer vocabulary review to seeing a movie or going to a party.

14. When you receive the notification, take a look at the word and see if it is a word that you know.
