3 years agoEvery since new app I can't use deals. Each shopping trip ends at customer service counter fighting for discounts. I've called and used chat feature with customer service at Albertson's several times. If I don't get the canned answer of delete app, reinstall, I get more detailed: stop app, clear cache, then delete and reinstall. It's not working! Finally, I spoke with a rep who figured out I have a second account from many years ago. I was able to remember the email account associated with the account but nothing else. This was a card I had 20+ years ago. Pre app. When card would no longer swipe I was told to open another account. I can't close the old account because I can't verify enough information but until I close that account I am unable to use deals or earn rewards. It's so frustrating. I live in a small town with 3 grocery stores: Albertson's, Walmart and Smith's. I refuse to buy horrible produce at Walmart. Forced to shop at Smith's. Next closest town is an hour drive (each way). Hating Albertson's right now.

3 years agoSomething went wrong in my account and I couldn't solve it and I can't get the weekly .specials. I thought maybe canceling my account and starting over would be the easiest solution. If it is, how do I do it?
