Things to note before removing FishLine:

  1. The developer of FishLine is Phondini Partners and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of Phondini Partners to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like Phondini Partners to delete all your data it holds. Phondini Partners must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that Phondini Partners deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold FishLine® Local Seafood Finder until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the FishLine® Local Seafood Finder app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose FishLine® Local Seafood Finder, » then click "Uninstall".

1. FishLine is financed in part by a grant from the Central California Joint Cable/Fisheries Liaison Committee, with additional support from Rhode Island Sea Grant and the Commercial Fisheries Center of Rhode Island, and the Hawaii Fishing and Boating Association.

2. FishLine includes features such as using GPS to find the nearest port, boat or market with fresh seafood for sale, so if you are on vacation or are near several ports, FishLine helps you figure out where to find the fish.

3. Try FishLine Direct (AKA CrabLine) of fishermen who will take orders for crab, fish and other seafood via phone, text or email.

4. The Community Seafood Exchange is a place for fishermen, markets, CSFs, restaurants and other institutional buyers to connect for bulk seafood (100s to 1000s of pounds) transactions.

5. FishLine includes material gathered by the Faces of California Fishing project.
