  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that Microsoft Corporation deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Azure Information Protection until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Azure Information Protection app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Azure Information Protection, » then click "Uninstall".

1. NOTE: You need to have an Office 365 account to use Microsoft Azure Information Protection viewer application.

2. You can view protected files (Rights protected email messages, PDF files, pictures, text files, and any other file format that is protected as a .pfile) that others have shared with you.

3. You can sign up for a free account by using the Azure Information Protection page.

4. Azure Information Protection app enables you to securely collaborate with others.

5. You cannot use Microsoft Account (Live, Hotmail or Outlook.com) account to sign in.

6. IT administrators can also deploy and manage the app for devices that are enrolled by Intune.
