We have made it super easy to delete Logeion account and/or app.

Things to note before removing Logeion:

  1. The developer of Logeion is The University of Chicago and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of The University of Chicago to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like The University of Chicago to delete all your data it holds. The University of Chicago must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that The University of Chicago deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Logeion until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Logeion app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Logeion, » then click "Uninstall".

1. Use one app to look up any Greek or Latin word: Logeion was developed at the University of Chicago to provide simultaneous lookup of entries in the many dictionaries and reference works that make up the Perseus Classical collection.

2. Most works represented in this app are based on digitized texts from the Perseus Digital Library at Tufts University.
