Things to note before removing Focus:

  1. The developer of Focus is ReadIQ and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of ReadIQ to know if they support self-serve account deletion:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like ReadIQ to delete all your data it holds. ReadIQ must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that ReadIQ deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Focus - Speed Reading until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Focus - Speed Reading app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Focus - Speed Reading, » then click "Uninstall".

1. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.

2. Our technology lets you burn through all those books and articles that have been piling up by making speed reading easy even for someone with no training.

3. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

4. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

5. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

6. Each word appears in the same place on the screen, your eye can stay fixed on that point while words flip through more quickly than you could hunt them down on a page.

7. You can read any books in DOC, DOCX or TXT (simple text file), EPUB, ZIP formats.

8. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

9. The average adult reading speed is 250 wpm.

10. Indeed, using the application gives a strong impression that you can read very quickly.

11. With Focus app, you could double or even triple that speed after just a little bit of practice.

12. You’d probably be more comfortable at 350 wpm, which is slightly higher than the 250 wpm that most people average.
