Things to note before removing ESTA:

  1. The developer of ESTA is US Customs and Border Protection and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of US Customs and Border Protection to know if they support self-serve account deletion:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like US Customs and Border Protection to delete all your data it holds. US Customs and Border Protection must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that US Customs and Border Protection deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold ESTA Mobile until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the ESTA Mobile app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose ESTA Mobile, » then click "Uninstall".

🎌 About ESTA Mobile


1. • The “GET STARTED” feature allows travelers to create a new ESTA application, pay for the ESTA and submit the application to be processed by the system to determine if they are eligible to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program without a visa.

2. The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) app from U.S. Customs and Border Protection allows Nationals of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries to apply and pay for a travel authorization without a visa.

3. CBP recommends that you apply for ESTA at the time you book your travel, but no less than 72 hours prior to boarding.

4. The ESTA app currently has two features available: Apply for New Individual Application and Search for Existing Application.

5. The system will provide the traveler with an automated response.
