3 years agoYesterday I ordered food from Tarboush, in Alexandria. After a while I received the following email "We have been facing challenges in connecting with you despite our best efforts in regards to order ID (555574235) as we keep receiving a message that your mobile is (Out of service/Unreachable/ ringing without picking up, etc...) We appreciate if you can connect with us via chat/call immediately as the restaurant needs to confirm your order details to be delivered as soon as possible" Even though my mobile was switched on, and I didn't receive any messages to notify me that anyone has called me, I contacted tarboush and they told me that one of my requests is not available and told me to cancel the order and start a new request. I replied to Talabat's email telling them that I want to cancel this order, and I made a new one but from a different restaurant. And since the first time I used the discount code. And the process wasn't cancelled fast, I didn't use it this second time. An hour or so later, I wanted to order desert, at this time the first order from Tarboush was cancelled and voucher/discount code became available. So of course I used it while making the new order. This time the order was cancelled on its own immediately, I tried several times at different patisseries, I got the same notification "that my order has been cancelled", I emailed talabalat CS to inquire about this issue, and they told me I violated their terms and conditions, and refused to tell me what did I do wrong, and told me to go check the rules, I did so, and didn't find anything close to the case of ordering multiple times at the same day or whatever they refused to say. They weren't professional in replying to me and just too lazy to explain real reasons. It's the weirdest situation I have ever experienced. Like, I am ordering food, and I pay for it with my own money. Okay, you don't need my money, and I have several other was to order my food, and so does all my friends and family members.
