Things to note before removing Find My Friends:
- The developer of Find My Friends is Apple and all inquiries must go to them.
- Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of Apple to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation:
- The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like Apple to delete all your data it holds. Apple must comply within 1 month.
- The CCPA lets American residents request that Apple deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱
Delete on iPhone:
- On your homescreen, Tap and hold Find My Friends until it starts shaking.
- Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
- Click on that X to delete the Find My Friends app.
Delete on Android:
- Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
- Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
- Choose Find My Friends, » then click "Uninstall".

1 year agoI accidentally subscribed but cancelled immediately but was charged 38.15 from my account I want my money refunded as I do not want the app or service

1 year agoI subscribed yesterday 28th December 2022, after which, I was able to look around the app and I found out it is not right for me. So I unsubscribed immediately within 30mins f subscription. I sent an email to the customer service contact on the delete account under setting. Till now, money is still showing as pending to be taken from my account. email notification says delayed delivery. 🎌 About Find My Friends
1. When you have Location Services enabled, you can share your device’s current location with anyone you choose using Find My Friends and Share My Location.
2. If you have a cellular capable Apple Watch, Find My Friends will even switch your location to your Apple Watch whenever you are away from your iPhone.
3. Just install the app and share your location with your friends by choosing from your contacts, entering their email addresses or phone numbers, or using AirDrop.
4. When you use Find My Friends, your location can be shared from any of your iOS devices, allowing you to choose the device you have with you most often.
5. Find My Friends allows you to easily locate friends and family using your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
6. Find My Friends lets you set up location-based alerts that can notify you automatically when a friend arrives at the airport, a child leaves school, or a family member arrives home safely.
7. When you share your location, your friends can start following your location immediately and easily share their locations back to you so that you’re both in the loop.
8. When using these features, your location is only sent to Apple if it is actively requested by a friend you are sharing with, and retained for 2 hours, after which it is deleted.
9. You can also set up alerts to notify friends about changes in your location.
10. For best location accuracy and notification performance, make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on your device.
11. If at any time you don’t want to be followed, you can hide your location with a single switch.
12. Find My Friends Version 7.0 requires iOS 11 or later and iCloud.
13. You can create a free Apple ID to use with iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
