Good afternoon, I had an account by Academia.edu last year. But never gave permission to prolong it. On 3 september 2023 €179,69 was written off on my VISA card. Much more expensive then last year. Also never received any clear message that it was going to be prolonged. I do not agree with this payment and want Academia/edu to refund. Besides unsubsribing by Academia.edu is far from easy. I don't use apps or smartphones, so how you are supposed to do do that? This is bad policy by Academia.edu and I want an explanation by mail. Herman Keetbaas

Good morning, I am writing on behalf of Father Francesco Mosetto, Father Francesco was surprised to find your subsciption fee was deducted from his brother's bank account without any prior warning, because of this the subsciption was immediately cancelled ,Father Francesco requests also, the refund subscription of 69.00 Euros .
