2 years agoHi, I used OTP Auth as a 2FA for my 1password account. I have can't get in to my OTP Auth account with my master password. I was on there just a few days ago, and I have tried my saved passphrase and every variation of it, it doesn't seem to work. It is probably my mistake and confussing the passphrase. But now I am wanting to restart my account or at least delete it so I can get into my 1password and re-set my 2FA. What would happen if I just delete the IOS app i used to set it up? I don't want to do that and lock myself out of my 1password for good. I would rather just keep trying different passphrase combinations I could of used. Any help would be much appreciated.
About OTP Auth?
1. And most important: OTP Auth does not connect to the internet and will not send your accounts to someone else! (Unless you enable iCloud sync where an AES-256 encrypted copy of your accounts is stored in your iCloud Drive.
2. In particular, for both locally stored data as well as data stored in the iCloud Drive (when iCloud Sync is enabled).
3. All data stored by OTP Auth is stored using strong AES-256 encryption.
