Things to note before removing :

  1. The developer of is US Customs and Border Protection and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of US Customs and Border Protection to know if they support self-serve account deletion:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like US Customs and Border Protection to delete all your data it holds. US Customs and Border Protection must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that US Customs and Border Protection deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Mobile Passport Control until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Mobile Passport Control app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Mobile Passport Control, » then click "Uninstall".

🎌 About Mobile Passport Control


1. 1.) Eligible traveler(s) download the application and create a profile(s) using biographic information from their passport(s) and take a “selfie”; all eligible members in a family group can create a profile, submit their CBP form (up to 12 eligible members per trip), and store their information completely free to be used for future travel.

2. 2.) Upon landing, travelers select their method of travel, port of entry and terminal, answer CBP inspection related questions, certify the truthfulness and accuracy of their answers, and submit their profiles and responses to CBP.

3. 1, 2022, the U.S Gov't CBP Mobile Passport Control (MPC) application will be the only authorized application for MPC traveler entry into the United States.

4. 4.) Travelers proceed to the MPC designated queue upon arrival and present their QR code to a CBP Officer along with their passport.

5. MPC provides a more efficient, secure in-person inspection process for the CBP Officer and the traveler, and shortens overall entry wait times.

6. Simply fill out your profile and answer CBP’s questions – then go straight to the “Mobile Passport Control” lane at the airport.

7. Mobile Passport Control streamlines your U.S. Customs and Border Protection processing experience.

8. Please note: MPC does not replace your passport; your passport will need to be presented to the CBP Officer.

9. 3.) Once submitted, CBP sends an encrypted Quick Response (QR) code back to the traveler’s device.

10. 5.) The CBP Officer will complete their inspection.
