Deleting from Smartphone 📱
Delete on iPhone:
- On your homescreen, Tap and hold ecobee until it starts shaking.
- Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
- Click on that X to delete the ecobee app.
Delete on Android:
- Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
- Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
- Choose ecobee, » then click "Uninstall".

2 years agoI have a new ecobee 3 lite and have viewed usage data on their web portal - would rather leave the mobile app. off my phone. I can see set point and house temperature data but not outdoor temperatures. Their support rep said I can only enter the location from the mobile app. Apparently this used to be possible via the web portal, but no more. I will not be coerced into installing yet another invasive mobile app. just to tell my thermostat where it is!
