We have made it super easy to delete Find My account and/or app.

Things to note before removing Find My:

  1. The developer of Find My is Apple and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Check the Terms of Services and/or Privacy policy of Apple to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation:
  3. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like Apple to delete all your data it holds. Apple must comply within 1 month.
  4. The CCPA lets American residents request that Apple deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Find My until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Find My app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Find My, » then click "Uninstall".

1. View the current location of your Apple devices, locate items you’ve attached AirTag to, keep track of Find My network accessories, and share your location with friends and family in a single, easy-to-use app.

2. On Apple Watch, use the Find Devices app to view the current location of your Apple devices, Find Items to keep track of AirTag and Find My network accessories, and Find People to share your location with friends and family members.

3. View the location of your missing iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, AirPods, devices in your Family Sharing group, AirTag, or Find My network accessories on a map, and get directions to their location in Maps.

4. When you can’t find your nearby device, AirTag or Find My network accessory, play a sound to pinpoint its location.

5. If your missing device, AirTag, or compatible third-party accessory isn’t nearby, the Find My app can still help you track it down using the Find My network.

6. AirTag and Find My network accessories can also be put in Lost mode to display your contact information to someone who finds them.

7. Use the People tab to share location with friends and family so you can keep in touch, coordinate, or know when a family member has arrived home safely.

8. Put devices in Lost Mode to lock the screen and display a message, or erase them remotely to protect your data.

9. Get the distance and direction to your AirTag with Precision Finding.

10. It’s all anonymous and encrypted to protect everyone’s privacy.
