1. Traducerea este aflarea unei echivalenţe absolut noi a textului original, pe când diortosirea nu e mai mult decât o îndreptare operată în textul dat (o actualizare lexicală şi gramaticală, o modernizare în conţinut şi formă - n.n.). În cazul meu, textul din Matei 1,2 este o traducere, dar cel din Ioan 1,1 - o diortosire”.
2. Această versiune a Bibliei reprezintă integral si nemodificat textul biblic revizuit de Mitropolitul Bartolomeu și aprobat de către Sfântul Sinod al Bisericii Ortodoxe Române.
3. Limba română a acestei ediții este cea mai limpede si mai adecvată pentru un cititor modern, care nu are mereu acces la subtilitatile teologice si filologice ale Bibliei.
