4. The app exchanges anonymous information with other phones in your vicinity and can notify you if you've come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
5. The DHHS created this app so the people of Nevada can make use of the latest technology to keep themselves and their families safe and fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
6. With the COVID Trace app, you don’t have to choose between your privacy and the health and safety of your community.
7. No one will know your location, name or address, health information, who you met, or whether you’ve tested positive.
8. Every day, it checks a list of random codes from people who tell the app they tested positive.
9. The app uses Bluetooth to exchange random codes with nearby phones.
10. It doesn’t use GPS and can’t share your location or information.
11. By working together and using every tool at our disposal, we can protect our communities and flatten the curve.
