A few things to note and do before cancelling:
- The developer of The Factual is CivikOwl and all inquiries must go to them.
- Cancelling a subscription during a free trial may result in losing a free trial account.
- You must always cancel a subscription at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
Subscription Costs (USD) 💰
- Basic: $7.99/month or $79.99/year
- Premium: $14.99/month or $149.99/year
The Basic subscription includes access to the daily news briefing, multiple viewpoints, long-reads, and the ability to dive deeper into any topic.
The Premium subscription includes all of the above, plus access to the credibility grade on any story, the selection of under-reported stories, and the ability to search by political leaning or coverage volume.
How to Cancel The Factual Subscription on iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings » ~Your name~ » and click "Subscriptions".
- Click the The Factual (subscription) you want to review.
- Click Cancel.
How to Cancel The Factual Subscription on Android Device:
- Open your Google Play Store app.
- Click on Menu » "Subscriptions".
- Tap on The Factual (subscription you wish to cancel)
- Click "Cancel Subscription".

- Reach out to CivikOwl
- If the company has an app they developed in the Appstore, you can try contacting CivikOwl (the app developer) for help through the details of the app.
Cancel The Factual from Paypal: 💳
- Login to www.paypal.com .
- Click "Settings" » "Payments".
- Next, click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
- You'll see a list of merchants you've subscribed to. Click on "The Factual" or "CivikOwl" to cancel.
