Things to note before removing Scanner:

  1. The developer of Scanner is Rijksoverheid and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. The GDPR gives EU and UK residents a "right to erasure" meaning that you can request app developers like Rijksoverheid to delete all your data it holds. Rijksoverheid must comply within 1 month.
  3. The CCPA lets American residents request that Rijksoverheid deletes your data or risk incurring a fine (upto $7,500 dollars).

Deleting from Smartphone 📱


Delete on iPhone:


  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Scanner for CoronaCheck until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Scanner for CoronaCheck app.

Delete on Android:


  1. Open your GooglePlay app and goto the menu.
  2. Click "My Apps and Games" » then "Installed".
  3. Choose Scanner for CoronaCheck, » then click "Uninstall".

1. • A number of details appear on your screen, allowing you to verify - using their proof of identity - if the QR code really belongs to this visitor.

2. • If the QR code is valid, and the details are the same as on the proof of identity, a check mark will appear on the screen and you can give access to the visitor.

8. You do this by scanning their QR code.
